"Arsenic in poppy dumplings

Mühlviertler crime story (s) with local musical treats

newspaper reports tell of the Mühlviertel of murderers, thieves and arsonists in a time that was marked by social upheaval, the reality of the First and the threat of World War II. "Arsenic in poppy dumplings - crime in Upper Austria by the turn of the century to 1938" Franz Steinmaßl is a book about everyday crime in the history of everyday life. If a "Armenpfründer" creeps out of the woods with a "geschlingelten Rehgais" in the backpack, then the book tells the same time without moving his lips, the arms being at that time.

Ferry Öllinger has taken up this story. Manuela Kloibmüller draws on the accordion by musical means, with the stories and draw on music literature from the Upper Austria and contemporary sounds.
